Nobody has to keep everything in their head
Where is the descaler? How much food do the rabbits get? Which filter fits the washing machine? collabDoo stores your household’s knowledge – and attaches it exactly to the task where it is needed.
Structure
Areas, objects, knowledge, tasks
A task does not exist in isolation – it has a foundation.
Areas
Kitchen, bathroom, garden, pets, vehicles, waste & recycling – nestable, with their own icon from 351 SF Symbols or an emoji.
Objects
Coffee machine, washing machine, rabbits, car, lawn – with picture, location, meta data, related knowledge, tasks and history.
Knowledge
Description, steps, checklists, materials and where they are kept, warnings, tips, typical mistakes, links, photos, PDFs. One entry can serve several tasks.
How-to from the task
Whoever gets a task does not need to know beforehand how it works. One tap on “how-to” – right from the focus card.
History on the object
When was the filter last changed, by whom, with which photo? The object knows.
Searchable library
Full-text search across all knowledge, organised by areas and objects – independent of tasks, too.
NFC tags
Hold the phone to the rabbit hutch
An NFC sticker sits on the object. Hold your phone to it – the app opens the object quick view: your own open tasks for this object with a big “Done”, the how-tos, the last completions and the report buttons (“out of food”).
- Write and verify tags right in the app, optionally read-only
- The tag is a plain link – iPhones read it in the background, Android later without changes
- No auto-complete when walking past; the completion belongs to the active profile
Files
Manual, photo of the fuse box, vet PDF
Pictures and documents attach to knowledge, objects and completions. Everything is stored encrypted on servers in Germany, photos are saved without location data. Each household has its own storage quota.
- Thumbnails for fast lists
- Links only to http(s), PDFs verified
Example
Rabbit care – one entry, four tasks
The knowledge entry Rabbit care holds feeding rules, photos, where the food is kept and the note that lettuce must not come straight from the fridge. It applies at the same time to feed the rabbits, change the water, clean the hutch and change the bedding. Change the entry and all four know.
collabDoo · All for one. Done by all.
The knowledge stays in the household – not in one person’s head.
Written down once, accessible to all, right on the task.
